ABOUT AARON HOLBROOK

Aaron Holbrook is an internationally recognized saxophonist, composer, and genre-bending artist whose sound bridges the worlds of jazz, hip-hop, soul, electronic music, and the modern creative movement. Born and raised in Dayton, Ohio, Aaron began playing the saxophone at age seven, igniting a lifelong pursuit of artistic excellence that would take him from the Midwest to some of the most prestigious stages in the world.

Trained at both The Juilliard School and Berklee College of Music, Aaron’s musical voice was shaped inside two of the world’s most elite artistic environments. After moving to New York City, he quickly became a sought-after collaborator, known for his fluid improvisation, melodic sensitivity, and his ability to move effortlessly across musical languages.

Aaron has toured globally and performed on some of the world’s most iconic stages, including Carnegie Hall, and has appeared on national television as a featured member of Stay Human, the band for The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. His artistry has also been showcased at the White House State Dinner, performing with Jon Batiste—a musical partnership that continues today, as Aaron performs regularly with Batiste on stages around the world.

With a sound rooted in the traditions of Black American music yet constantly pushing into new territory, Aaron blends the improvisational fire of jazz with the textures of contemporary music—electronic atmospheres, soulful harmony, hip-hop rhythms, and pop-infused lyricism. His upcoming releases reflect a modern, forward-looking vision: music that is deeply personal yet universally resonant.

Whether on stage, in the studio, or creating new sonic worlds, Aaron Holbrook is building a musical identity that stands tall—bold, expressive, and unmistakably his own.
